Yesterday wuz da Blog da Change challenge wot I did miss, but I wuz gonna do sumfin on sharing ur home wif a couple extra kitties by adoptin or fosterin kittehs frum your local shelter. I knows not everybuddy can do dis but most shelters also hab a virtual adoption where u sponsor da kittehs wif a monthly gift until dey iz adopted.

All des options halp saves the lives of cats.

But I finks ma humanz did takes dis Be da Change fing a lil too far!

Today dey dun went to cat sit our furrends kittehs, but comed home wif two (COUNT DEM TWO) foster sisfurs!

Now I gotta share MA STUFFS wif 2 more kittehs. Dis iz not right and I will be doing a lot of hissing and growling for the next week or so. Pffffft.

A while back human2 comed home wif a stack of cardboard fings. Turned out dey wuz dis fings called Catty Stacks dat herz gotted from da manufacturer to hab us kittehs test and try out for to see iffen CatToys.com should sells dem.

I did ma part by inspecting every one of dem so called boxes. I could not figure out how dem flat fings would be come fun kitteh boxes.

Even affer Human2 started putting dem togetter I could not figure out how dis flat fing would be a box, but it was fun to lay on and keep flat. MOL

We all inspected dat first box. It wuz amazin how human2 did put dat flat fing into a box so qwik. Herz told us to just be patient cause der wuz gonna be more. Dat good cause I dunt finks all us kittehs could fits in dat one box.

OMC herz wuz rite do u seed all dem boxes!? WOW. A kitteh could hab sum fun playin in dem and on dem. I did try gettin inside but since I is bigger den da average cat I did not fit in. But there are purr-fur-ashuns on da one side dat Human2 promises herz will open up and lets me gets inside of dem Catty Stacks.

My foster monsters really, really likes da Catty Stacks. You can seed by dis pikshur on da right dat Tippy on da top lookin down at Drizzle on da bottom. afore Drizzle gotted sick dey would chase each utter round da house den play tag inside da Catty Stacks. One would sit on the top while da utter would be inside da box and dey would try thwokin each utter. Den da inside kitteh would run thru da tube (wot iz rather small so it good dems iz small kittehs) and da utter would hop over to da utter box. Dis game of tag would go on fur hours.

Dey sed dat da Catty Stacks would stand up to a 20 lb cat and we all knows I iz 25 lbs. (Da company shows dem boxes holding big weights but we needed to test dem wif a BIG cat MOL. Guess wot dey held me. I did thwok da foster monsters and hop on each box using dem like steps. Regular size kittehs will of course hab more fun den us SUPAH SIZED kittehs, but I did likes dem too.

Human2 gonna moved des Catty Stacks up to da office (aka pooter room) fur us kittehs to lounge on. Ever since Drizzle crossed da Rainbow Bridge Tippy does sleep on da top of dem boxes every night! Mehbe we need more kittehs so herz can get crazy inside dem again. Wot u finks?

We likes da Catty Stacks so much we are deliverin sum to our furrends we did kitteh sit last year and we gonna get sum fur our furrends at One By One Cat Rescue…I knows dem kittehs gonna LUB dem.  So I called up CatToys.com and told dem I did gib da cat boxes 4 paws up and dey told me to put togetter a bundle of wot I finked kittehs need to get started. So I did. Go check out da Catty Stacks Boris Bundle over at CatToys.com! You can gets ma selections or you can choose ur own combo. But I do suggest u gets at least 3 or 4 to start (and I bets you will be back for more at some point too).

Human2 sez Catty Stacks are a lot likes LEGO bricks, cause you can build dem one way den turn around and build dem anutter way.

Procter & Gamble (P&G) Pet Care announced today that Euka, its V.P. of Canine Communications since 2003, will retire next spring after a good, long run of dedicated service. The 9-years-young Labrador, along with other members of her leadership team, conducted an extensive search for the best replacement and one dog stood out and met all of the specific job requirements. He’s an energetic, 6-month old Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen (PBGV). For the next 10 months, Euka will be putting this little guy through his paces as he learns about his new responsibilities associated with serving as the ambassador for Iams and Eukanuba. Before all of that begins, this pup needs a name, so the leading pet food brands are turning to Facebook fans for help, and in return donating funds to an important cause.

Beginning today, visit either http://www.facebook.com/iams or http://www.facebook.com/eukanuba and suggest a name for this new 4-legged hire. Names will be accepted until July 7, 2011 at midnight EDT. A team of pet-naming aficionados at P&G Pet Care will choose the top five names and unleash a Facebook poll for voting July 11-18. The name that receives the most “Likes” during the polling period will win-out, with an announcement being posted on the Facebook pages July 19. For every name suggestion and resulting “Like” from June 29 through July 18, P&G Pet Care will donate $1 (up to $10,000) to America’s VetDogs.

“Euka has touched the lives of so many during her tenure with us, and we’ll really miss her after she retires next April,” said Vicki Seiler, external relations associate, P&G Pet Care. “But she’s going to take the training of this young PBGV seriously, and she definitely has a lot to teach him before he flies solo in his new role: making appearances around the globe, earning his champion title and becoming certified as a Canine Good Citizen and Therapy dog…and that’s just year one.”

If there’s a dog that deserves some R&R after years of dedication and hard work, it’s Euka. Since joining the team in the summer of 2003, she’s been the official greeter of office visitors, represented Iams and Eukanuba at corporate events and industry activities, supervised numerous shelter make-overs and visited school children to help educate them about the importance of animals and how best to take care of them. In 2004, her celebrity really took off when she became a national “cover dog” by appearing on Fortune Magazine with P&G CEO at the time, A.G. Lafley.

Euka’s training program for her replacement has begun and everyone is anxious to start calling this new employee by a permanent name. Seiler continued, “We’ve had this puppy for a couple weeks now and have had a lot of fun getting to know him, but when we started talking about what to call him, we said: ‘Who better to name our newest vice president than our Iams and Eukanuba Facebook friends?’ We’ll be posting photos and videos so everyone can get to know him a little before sharing their suggestions, but when they see him, we’re sure they’ll fall in love with his face too like we all did.”

Visit http://www.facebook.com/iams or http://www.facebook.com/eukanuba to suggest a name for P&G Pet Care’s new V.P. of Canine Communications and help raise money for a good pet cause.
