Me either, until now. It iz a great way fur animals and humans to get out and get exercise.  (I only go out in ma Kritter Kondo, but I know kitties like my pal Pumpkin who have a stroller and go on walkies wif der humanz! So dis challenge is not just fur dog people.)

The GREENIES® team is focusing on revitalizing the Wag & Walk 4 Life TM program, a program designed to get pet owners and pets active on a regular basis.  The benefits of getting out and walking with your pet include 120+ calories burned for each 30 minutes of dog  walking, lower blood pressure and lower cholesterol levels in dog owners, stronger bones, leaner muscles and healthier joints for both pet and pet owner.

So come on AMERICA off your duff, away frum dat TV or computer and get to walking! The challenge here is not only to get you off your butts, but ( I sed but twice MOL) to halp raise money for disabled veterans to get service dogs. How cool is that?!?!?

I did pledge 10 miles a week (yeah its geared toward doggies but I will gets 30 minutes of extra play time a day out of ma humanz wif dis pledge).  I needs da exercise dats fur sure. I will be keepin everybuddy posted on hows ma pledge is comin along.

For every new pledge through Wag & Walk 4 Life TM between Monday,  June 27 and Monday, July 11, The GREENIES® Brand will donate $5 to Englewood, CO-based Freedom Service Dogs to support the training and placement of a service dog with a disabled veteran who needs a mobility partner.

I Gotted a Nutter Catwoman

OMC doz u remember last year when ma humanz wented to Wizard World in Philly and brought back a pawtographed photo of Catwoman Ms Julie Newmar?

Well dey wented again dis year and comed home wif anutter Catwoman pawtograph fur me. Dis time it iz of Ms Lee Merriweather as Catwoman and also haz Robin da Boy Wonder in da pikshure too.


I do sez MEOWZA to Catwoman

But da pawtographs dunt stop there. I gotted anutter one of Burt Ward az Robin. Did you knows he rescues big dogs? Over da last 17 years his rescue, Gentle Giants Rescue, haz saved 14,000 dogs. Dat iz so pawsum and I am so proud to be da owner of hiz pawtograph times two (ma humanz did not mind buying two since dey wuz sure da moneys would be goin to dat rescue). Den dey also gotted Adam West as Batman fur me. I gotted one last very pawsum autographs dis year. Kristanna Loken, you might knows herz best az da hottest Terminator known to man… or mancat. MOL. Unfortunately I could not go but Edgar wented and got a cuddle frum Ms Loken….lucky bugger. You knows he gonna be splashin dat all ovah #SCIFIpawty next year. Wow ma pawtograph collekshun iz really growin…wunner who else I could gets? mehbe u knows sum one famous dat could halp a kitteh out?

All ma furrends hab tryin out dat dangerous new fad planking. So I thought I would gib it a try too. But I had to one up dem and make it even more dangerous by planking on a lightsaber!

Sweet Lil Drizzle Lost Her Fight With FIP

Today my foster sisfur Drizzle did cross da rainbow bridge to play wif ma utter sisfurs already over der. I knows herz iz in good paws wif Abby and Picasso. Dey iz old ladies but I am sure dey will welcome Drizzle wif open paws.

Drizzle wuz only a lil over a year old and had only been wif us for a few months. Her and Drizzle broke out of their quarantine on the first nite here and had run of da place ever since. Dey lubbed chasin each utter through da house and playin on der Catty Stacks. Dey started settling in finding der own spots in da house. Tippy took over da lil tent and ma chair. Drizzle had da pillows on da Catty Stacks and top of da tall radiator in da bathroom. Dey both lubbed da Undercover mouse and would wrestle each utter on top of it.

Drizzle lubbed playin in da shower and would hide behind da curtain fur da humanz to come in and pounce! Herz wuz also known to cause a big splash by fallin in da toilet iffen human1 left da lid up. Human2 would be in da bedroom and hear SPLOOSH and knows Drizzle wuz somewhere all wet.

Da humanz did also calls herz Meep cause herz had dis quiet lil mew dat comed out in a “meep”.

We did only learn about herz habbin FIP a little over a week ago. Sometimes diz disease can work real fast.

What iz FIP? Feline Infectious Peritonitis iz a nasty virus dat most kitties are exposed to, but it will mutate inside a kitteh with a weak immune system into a new virus and this is wot iz fatal. Der are two forms of FIP a wet and dry kind. Drizzle had da wet kind. Her lil belly did fill up wif fluid while herz lost lots of weight. You could feels herz back bones stickin up and seed her face a legs were thinner. Herz would not eat much and slowly stopped eating altogether. Da worst fing about dis disease iz it takes sweet young kitties like our Drizzle.

After you reads dem you will understand why my humanz gotted a little crazy when I gotted sniffles and runny poops and rushed me off to da V-E-T.

My blood work came back and I haz the virus inside me (it haz not mutated) and I haz a low titer count so my vet sez not to worry. I should be fine. Especially since FIP only mutates in 5% off cats. Poor Drizzle just had to be in dat 5%.

We did not hab herz beary long, but we lubbed her very much. We wuz gonna makes here a permanent parts of our fambly too. Her momma Tippy will missin her greatly but herz still haz us and will be an official part of da fambly real soon.

Review of the World’s Best Cat Litter Scented Formula

We gotted a sample bag of the all new scented formula of the World’s Best Cat Litter.  We wanted to like it cause we add a lil bit of smelly goods to da box affer cleaning it every time.

But da lavendar scent is just too strong.

Not only couldn’t our humanz stands the smell us kittehs did not like it and even avoided da litter box. So da humanz added about a fitty/fitty mix of regular [amazon_link id=”B000T9UVJW” target=”_blank” ]World’s Best Cat Litter [/amazon_link] and da new scented stuff and it wuz still too strong and no body would use da cat box.

At dis point human2 apologized to us all and emptied da box and refilled it wif da regular [amazon_link id=”B001822CPU” target=”_blank” ]World’s Best Cat Litter[/amazon_link], which by the way iz not our favorite either. We prefer da red bag. Dat is da [amazon_link id=”B000T9UVJW” target=”_blank” ]Multi-cat formula[/amazon_link] and dat da one we use regularly.

I shuld hope dat WBCL reduces da scent a bit and/or pick a new frangrance (lavendar is not a very appealing scent for humanz or kittehs) so dat more kittehs and humanz can use der new product.

Did you know dat June iz Adopt a Cat Month?

Spring and early summer are kitten season. That is when shelters get over crowded with cats and need our halp in getting them all homes. Please consider adopting a cat now iffen you have been thinking of adding to your family.

Fist off I haz to tell you all dat diz kitteh (aka ME) iz not available for adopshuns. Sawry to disappoints you.

And iffen you wanted a big guy like me takes a look at Jack. He iz a big white and grey tabby just like me!

Checkin Out Da Garden from Ma Kondo

I spent da day yesterday in ma Kritter Kondo so I gots to gets a good look at how da garden is doin. But I sent Edgar out to gets a betterer look at some fings.

He took time out to stop and smell da roses.

Dis big rose bush needed to be tied up affer da big windy winds we had last week.

Edgar gotted lost in da mint wot iz higher den him.

Dem pennies from heaven were bootiful purple n white flowers just da utter day now dey iz seeds alreddy!

Ok back to squirrel watchin.

Caturday Outside in Da Kritter Kondo

We all knows how much I lub ma Kritter Kondo right? (in case you furgots just do a search fur “kritter kondo” here on ma bloggy)

I lub going outside and the only way I can safely go outside iz wif ma humanz and when dey put me in ma kondo. Dats cause I go to close to da road or out in our alley where cars could sqwish me dead iffen I wuz loose. Believe me you none of us wants dat.

And to be honest I am not to be trusted iffen der iz squirrels or birdies around me.

As u can seed by dat pikshur I am VERY interested in sumfin outside ma kondo.

Dat right it wuz a SQUIRREL!

He comed around and bothered me several times while I wuz outside and iffen i wuz loose I surely would have chased him.

Which of course would not be my fault but i would get all da blame and get grounded like when ma pal JB Hippo comed to visit me and I runned out of ma Kondo and down the alley and human2 had to run affer me.

See how dat squirrel just comes right up to us. He doz not care dat I am in ma kondo, but worst of all he doz not care dat human2 iz standin right der!

It wuz a Bootiful day and I wuz outside for HOURS!

Kitchen Lovin’s

I know you have heard me talk about gettin kitchen lovin’s from Human2 when herz gets home from work. But I have never taken the time out to tell you exactly wot kitchen lovin’s iz. Fur dat I am sawry.

When herz comes home from work I run to greets her at the back door (now a days though I haz to wait by the baby gate cause I been piddling in the kitchen so I hab been banned). When I wuz a wee lil squirt herz would yell out “Hey SQUIRT!” when herz did see me running. Az I got bigger and bigger herz changed squirt into MOOSE.

Often human2 will close da baby gate up agin so dat da foster monsters will not disturb us.

Well after I greet her and get a few pettings da real kitchen lovin’s start. I rub on both her legs and den plop ma self down between her feets often times flippin ma self upside down in  da process. Gets lots of pettin’s, belly rubbin’s and chin scritches. In return I gib lots of loud purrs.

Dis iz a fun speshul time wot iz just fur me and human2. If someone comes into the kitchen to see wot iz happenin I will stops. It iz just fur us….so don’t go tellin anybuddy okay?
