Human2 comed home a lil while ago wif des three cool Star Trek teddy bears dat herz said were gonna be prizes for SCIFIpawty next year. So we weren’t tellin anyone about dem yet till we were reddy to starts talkin SCIFIpawty. But dat darn Piper started pullin da Spock teddy off da chair himz wuz sittin on. H2 would walk by and seed him on da floor and just put he back, finkin sumbuddy knocked him off da chair jumpin into da window. But herz wuz wrong and would not knows herz wuz wrong for a few more days when da humanz caughted Piper red pawwed.

Affer herz wuz caught we decided mehbe Spock would hab to stay here and be Piper’s. Wot u finks?

Edgar decide he wanted to be a pirate for Halloween (cause pirates r cool). So he gotted all duded up for his TokiPoki halloween card and when dat Human1 seed how cute he wuz herz said I would be just az cute in dat Captain Jack Sparrow hat too. So herz putted it on ma head.

And I wuz actually cuter den dat Edgar!

My natural eyeliner makes me a handsum pirate. no?

But I still had to gib dem humanz a piratey stink eye anywho!

I told u it wuz pumpkin carvin times. When da wheather gets colder n da days get shorter we start lookin forward to r favorite holiday Halloween. We gets to watch Snoopy in Da Great Pumpkin and makes jack-o-lanterns. But we makes Boris-o-Lanterns and dis year we gonna makes pumpkins fur all us kittehs. Me and Edgar gonna snoopervise H2 in da carvin of da sacrificial pumpkins. We also gotted funkins to make permanent Boris-o-Lanterns dis year but we did no wanna miss out on da pumpkin guts. Sides H1 likes makin pumpkin seeds. Dis year it wuz a little harder to finds pumpkins and dey wuz more expensive too. We finks dat cause of all da rains n floods we had around here dis years. Rains makes fur sqwishy pumpkins.

But we gotted five pumpkins and gutted dem all afore we ever started carving. Dat wuz so we could keep on going wif out stoppin.

Today’s mail brought wif it 2 great fings… My We Paws for Tatas t-shirt/cards and a nutter donation for da box kittehs at One By One Cat Rescue. A beary nice lady wot read ma bloggy but doz not hab paypal for da chip-in did asking us how herz could donate to da sweet little box kittehs wot were left on the doorstep of da shelter a few weeks ago. So we gibbed her our address n herz mailed us a check. Which den became a good excuse to send Edgar over to PetSmart to seed kittehs durin da adoption day today. Not only did he deliverin da moneys but he gots to watch az kitteh after kitteh gotted forever homes! He did smiles from ear to ear. He also gotted down and played wif some of da kittehs wot are still waitin for a forever and ever home.

Beary nice card comed wif da donations today. Fanks u Mrs. Storch!

You all knows how much me and Human2 likes carvin our Halloween pumpkins. ESPECIALLY dem Boris-O-Lanterns. We had even did a Shawnee-O-Lantern and dis year we gonna try r paws at a Buttons-O-Lantern.

And dis year we gonna cheat a lil bit for dem foster monsters. I finded kitteh stencils like da doggy ones afore and hab picked out ones wot looks like Tippy, Piper and Phoebe so all kittehs will be spookified dis year.

I will of course post pikshurs when we hab dem done. We not even hab da punkins yet. MOL

Box Kitties Still Need r Halp

Dem poor kitties wot were dumped at One By One Cat Rescue a few weeks ago are doin better. Dey been to da vet and gettin meds and gettin placed in foster homes. Many still need additional care n meds afore dey can be put up fur adoption. Wif ur halp I wuz able to donate $250 toward der care last week at da Walk for the Animals.

But dey needs more. Here a quote from One By One’s recent newsletter update on the box kitties…

Most of our box kitties arrived with such issues as: suffering from malnutrition, ear mites and fleas. Some were in worse condition like our little “sad sack” who was just released from emergency care. Others are being treated for parasites, eye infections, and upper respiratory infections.

Da local paper (Reading Eagle) did run a story on da box kitties and poor Sad Sack (warning da story and photos will make ur eyes leaky).

Pleez iffen u can halp wif a few green papers no matter da amount we will make sure dem box kitties gets da moneys so da great peoples at 1 by 1 can keep on halpin kitties in need.
